Matt Peeler currently serves as Senior Vice President and Director of Government Programs for MapleMark Bank. In this role, Matt is responsible for managing and developing the Bank’s USDA guaranteed loan program nationally, including originating new loan opportunities across four separate USDA loan programs, including: Business & Industry (B&I), Community Facilities (CF), Rural Energy for America (REAP) and Water & Waste Disposal (WWD). In addition to business development, Matt assists the Bank with secondary market sales, outside loan participations, and the structuring of complex financing arrangements such as New Market Tax Credits (NMTC), Historical Tax Credits (HTC), Investment Tax Credits (ITC), Energy Tax Credits (ETC), and Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE).
Matt brings more than a decade of guaranteed lending experience, and has personally originated, underwritten, or serviced more than $500 million in total loan originations throughout his career. Matt’s lending background is diverse, having worked as a commercial credit analyst, underwriter, loan officer, and program director. Matt also has experience utilizing a variety of credit products, including SBA, USDA, Conventional, and C-PACE. Matt’s extensive background and a commitment to client responsiveness have helped him reach many key milestones during his career, including being recognized as a key member of two top producing SBA and USDA lending teams nationally in 2017 and 2022, respectively. Matt also helped MapleMark reach the #5 USDA lender by volume in fiscal year 2023 for total loans by volume that had been submitted and approved by USDA.

Cayla Holleman joined MapleMark Bank in 2022 as the Coordinator of Government Programs. Her career began at USDA Rural Development, where she dedicated nearly eight years of public service as a Loan Specialist. She was responsible for the administration of over 20 federal financing programs, each designed to stimulate economic development and enhance the quality of life in rural America.
As the Coordinator of Government Programs, Cayla is committed to helping clients navigate the complex landscape of federal financing initiatives. Her expertise lies at the intersection of financing and government regulations, bringing a unique skillset to MapleMark Bank.
Kendall Scott, CPA joined MapleMark Bank in 2018 after beginning her career in the Business Tax Services group at KPMG. After serving in both credit analysis and portfolio management roles Kendall joined the Commercial Lending team. In the past 6 years she has worked with a diverse range of clients, from small portfolio companies to large corporations and across numerous industries, helping them navigate the complexities of commercial lending and find tailored financial solutions to meet their unique needs.
Since MapleMark Bank’s introduction to the USDA OneRD lending program, Kendall has successfully guided numerous clients through the application and approval process. Kendall continues to expand upon her knowledge of the program's requirements, regulations, and eligibility criteria, making it possible for clients to access the funding they require to foster economic growth and development in rural areas.
